3 Rex are Alex, Kitty, and Donal — a creative trio making playful, imaginative music for kids.
Alex Brenchley is a songwriter, guitarist, and cartoonist from London who loves a good mystery book — especially ones with detectives!
Kitty Finer, also from London, is a singer, songwriter, and visual artist. Alongside writing songs, she collaborates with Alex on the group’s artwork. She’s a big fan of karaoke and coffee.
Donal Sweeney is a composer and producer from Dublin, now based in Paris. He creates music for TV in all kinds of styles. His favorite instrument is the electric bass, and his favorite utensil? Chopsticks.

Rob Castell is a songwriter from Berkshire, UK, with American roots and a love of storytelling through music. Influenced by legends like James Taylor and Paul Simon, he spent years writing musical theatre before turning to children’s music — inspired by having two kids of his own.
He wrote songs for the BAFTA-nominated CBBC show Officially Amazing. Fun fact: Rob can make a strange noise that sounds like a dinosaur or a dolphin… and he once carried a guitar around the world with no case!

Marc Burford is a songwriter from Hampshire, UK, who writes for TV, film, and artists around the world. One of his best memories? Playing at Moscow Stadium with his band Echotape. Before music, he used to drive tractors!
Katt Brown lives in a village in Hampshire and writes songs for both kids and adults. Inspired by nature, her Swedish heritage, and a background in speech and language therapy, Katt believes that words can heal, support, and spark change. Fun fact: she loves clogs — so much, she once wrote about them for the Footwear Research Network!

Ben Heathcote is a songwriter from Lancashire, UK. He loves creating for Tiny Totz Kidz — especially “Jam Tart Roly Poly,” which was written by his daughter!
Fun fact: One of Ben’s distant uncles was the longest-serving Prime Minister of New Zealand.

Kate Steinway is a family-focused musician from Los Angeles, California, creating music for every mood — from bedtime lullabies to dance-along party tracks. Her best collaborators? Her daughters, Quinn (6) and Riley (18 months). Quinn’s the rhyme master, and Riley checks the vibes.
Fun fact: Kate’s favorite color is pink, and her favorite animal is the orangutan!

Luke Toms is a songwriter and producer from Cornwall, UK, known for his big melodies and bold style. He has worked with Island Records, Sony, and EMI, and now releases music through Wardlaw. His sound spans everything from a cappella and synth-pop to full orchestral arrangements.
Fun fact: Luke is also a Senior Lecturer in Songwriting and Record Production at university.
